Free Hospitality

The Tournament Committee will provide various hospitality events during the tournament.  Come and relax in our free hospitality suite after the game and try some of the good food on offer.  All bridge players are welcome.  For further details, during the tournament read the online tournament Bulletin here daily at: www.bridgebest.com

Intermediate/Newcomer

The 2007 National Capital Regional Bridge Tournament is running a series of  0-200 masterpoint games as part of the Tournament.  This is an ideal opportunity to play Tournament Bridge for those with little or no experience.

Play in as many or as few sessions as you wish.

There will be an Intermediate / Newcomer Registration Desk, where you will be greeted by one of our Intermediate / Newcomer Team members and buy your entry.  You do not have to bring a partner; a partner can be arranged at the Intermediate / Newcomer Registration Desk.  Please come at least 30 minutes before game time.

Prizes will be awarded to session winners.  The winner of the most Intermediate / Newcomer points over the tournament (in Intermediate / Newcomer events) will receive the Carlingwood Duplicate Bridge Club Trophy.

Entries

Entry is $15 per person in the Open and Seniors events.

Intermediate/Newcomer event entry fees are $10 per person.

Note there is an ACBL surcharge of $2 per session for ACBL non-members and unpaid members in all events.

There will be a zero tolerance policy.  This means your enjoyment is guaranteed, as rudeness, abuse and other misconduct will not be tolerated and will be penalized.
