The Burgay team from Poland had four Poles and two Italians – one of the Italians was Carlo Mariani, Leonardo Burgay’s partner.

Adam Zmudzinski sometimes seems like a real life Loki (Norse) – crafty and a trickster.

Adam’s partner is Cezary Balicki – these two have won many medals in the last decade of play, and in Montreal were key members of the Burgay team.
